We need VolunteerS at REDLANDS RUGBY LEAGUE
There has never been a more important time to help get community rugby league back up and running again and that’s why we’re asking everyone to play their part to unite and assist at their local club as volunteers.
It is a requirement of the Redlands Rugby League that "ALL" volunteers must have a valid QLD Working With Children Check before registering as a rugby league volunteer. Regardless of whether you are a close relative of a participant or not, you still require a clearance:
club administrators
All administrators must be registered with their local club under the Volunteer member type, which is selectable at the beginning of the club registration form. Registrations are completed online through playrugbyleague.com.
If you experience any issues whilst trying to complete your registration, the NRL have provided support resources and guides available.
Where can I learn how to use MySideline?
The best place to start will be by completing the Club Administrator courses available on the NRL Learning Centre. Every task is covered via a series of free individual online modules.
Once completed and if you still have any questions or require assistance, the local League and Club Support Coordinators listed below will be able to assist. The NRL also have dedicated support staff and resources available to club administrators.
A member at my club has suffered a concussion, what is the process for them to return to play?
The Concussion Resources page outlines the process that must be followed before a concussed player can return to play.
Where can I get more information to share with my members around TackleReady?
The NRL has put together an information flyer for parents which outlines what each participant will learn over the course of the program.
There is also a page on the Play Rugby League website with more information on the TackleReady program.
